Tiny Torps
Aged 4-5 years old
This stage of Tiny Torpedoes is bringing together all of the skills with confidence. These skills will be developed through activities that will focus on kicking and handballing at a target and/or goals, earning the basic field positions (back line, forward line, mid-field) and building confidence to mark the ball. Your child will be encouraged to express themselves throughout these activities with an emphasis on good sportsmanship, encouragement of others and communication in a friendly way.
What you can expect
The fundamental skills already learnt will be further developed using various games and drills. These will be delivered in a fun and educational way to promote and enhance sportsmanship, encouragement and communication. If your child is joining us for the first time they will be encouraged to work independently at their own level of ability and will be assisted by the coach if needed to ensure they have fun, learn the intended skills and build their self-confidence.
